WOMEN'S WALK

When Hillary Clinton lost the US election in 2016, I wanted to create a work on paper depicting a women's march. With the participation of the Women's Y, Concordia University and a company hiring a large number of women, I invited participants to leave their footprints on a roll of tar paper, symbolizing the positive impact of every step towards gender and social equality.

Men are invited to wear women's shoes to get involved in the artwork and in the fight for gender equality.
